Gli Aneurysm nascono a Verona nel 1994 ispirati dai grandi nomi della scena thrash anni '80. Ben presto la band inizia ad elaborare il proprio sound trovando un punto d’incontro tra tecnicismo, melodia e potenza. Dopo un primo demo “Burst”, registrato nel 1995, gli Aneurysm danno alla luce “Aware” (2002) che incontra l’approvazione del pubblico ed il pieno consenso della critica. Importanti esponenti dei media specializzati come Metal Shock, Metallus, Il Mucchio e Tribe Generation premiano “Aware” come miglior disco e su molte altre webzines l’album viene recensito con toni entusiastici.
Anche sul fronte live gli Aneurysm collezionano numerose soddisfazioni come la vittoria al concorso “Headbanging Contest” tenutosi all’ Indian Saloon a Milano, oppure la partecipazione all’importante Valpolicella Metal Fest di Verona che vede nel bill la presenza di nomi importanti come Grave Digger e White Skull.
Nel 2004 la band inizia a comporre nuovo materiale e nel giugno 2005 gli Aneurysm entrano in studio per registrare “Shades”, concept di 15 tracce che vede anche la partecipazione di Hansi Kürsch dei Blind Guardian.


Aneurysm was born in Verona (Italy) in 1994 inspired by the great 80’s thrash bands. Very soon the group begins to elaborate his own sound, finding a point of contact between technicism, melody and power. After the first demo-tape “Burst” (1995), Aneurysm gives birth to “Aware” (2002) meeting the favour of the public and the full appreciation of the critics. Important media exponents as Metal Shock, Metallus, Il Mucchio and Tribe Generation award a prize to “Aware” as best album, and, other webzines, review the album with enthusiastic words.
Even on stage Aneurysm collects many satisfactions like the victory of “Headbanging Contest” at the Indian Saloon Music Hall in Milan, or the participation to the important “Valpolicella Metal Fest” in Verona with Grave Digger and White Skull.
In 2004 the band begins to write new songs and, in June 2005, Aneurysm begins to record “Shades”, a 15 tracks concept in which Hansi Kursch from Blind Guardian appears as special guest.
